Today I read about a grandfather who was telling his grandson about his experience in the concentration camps. his grandfather in the concentration camp had to undress and walk in the snow. they got given clothes but most of them ended up getting a size too small or size too big but he was lucky he got given the right size clothes but it was just his shirt that was quite big. He had a friend that was not lucky at all everything he got given was too big or small.

Reading challenge
Today I read about the Christchurch mosque terrorist attack that just recently happened last Friday on the 15th march. 50 people are now found dead after the shooting. The murderer entered 2 different mosque which is a Muslim church. The murderer's name is Brenton Tarrant he was born in Australia. He lived in New Zealand for 2 years which in that time frame he trained for the shooting and purchased 4 guns from a gun store in New Zealand. He had an automatic rifle which he modified to make it just like a military gun. The shooter posted a live video of him going into the church and killing everyone.
Brenton did not purchase the automatic rifle from an NZ gun store.

term 1 reading challenge
Today I read Maus by Art Spiegelman
I'm not sure that the title fits the book yet because I haven't got really far in the book. I like that the story gives a lot of detail and that it shows what most people when through in the Holocaust. The main idea of the story is to get people to understand what it was like in the Holocaust. I am not sure what the author is trying to teach us. I think that the most important part in the book is when people helped others when they were struggling. My favorite character in the book would have to be the main character and my least favorite character in the book would have to be Hitler. I haven't learned any new words yet.
